Georgia is located in the southern foot of the Great Caucasus Mountains and the east coast of the Black Sea. Georgia has beautiful natural scenery, as well as longstanding history and culture, with which win the good reputation of ‘God's Garden’ and ‘the cradle of the wine’. China is one of the earliest countries that recognized the independence of Georgia and established diplomatic ties with Georgia. Since June 9, 1992, when China and Georgia established diplomatic ties, we are always good friends of trust and genuine partners for cooperation. For the past few years, the two sides work together to construct the ‘Belt and Road’, and the mutually beneficial communication and cooperation in various fields yields substantial achievements. Georgia is the first country in Asia-Europe region that established free trade area with China. China has become the third largest trading partner and largest exporting market of Georgia. The development of China-Georgia relations enjoys promising future.
