Xi Jinping pointed out that China applauds the consensus on upholding the one-China principle that has been built among people from all walks of life in Liberia thanks to Joseph Nyumah Boakai's efforts. The two peoples have jointly fought Ebola and COVID-19, carried out fruitful cooperation in economic and social development, and forged a profound friendship. Xi Jinping said he highly values the growth of China-Liberia relations, and is ready to work with Joseph Nyumah Boakai to deepen friendship and mutual trust between the two countries and strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation in a bid to bring more benefits to the two peoples.
