On July 18th, Chinese Ambassador Zhou Qian met with the Chairperson of the Central Election Commission of Georgia Giorgi Kalandarishvili.

Ambassador Zhou said that the parliamentary election at the end of this year is a major event in Georgia’s domestic agenda. As a strategic partner, China is pleased to see a election that is held in accordance with the laws of Georgia.

Chairperson Kalandarishvili introduced the structure of the CEC, the pre-election voter education and the application of electronic voting technologies.
