Notice from the Embassy of China in Georgia on adjusting the office hours of Consular section
2025-07-25 20:17

Starting from June 2025, the Embassy of China in Georgia has successively launched online application services for passports and travel documents of Chinese citizens through the "Chinese Consulate" app, as well as online visa application services for foreigners intending to travel to China. These services optimize application procedures, improve efficiency and enable digital, paperless processing—greatly facilitating document-related matters for Chinese citizens in Georgia and foreign nationals planning to travel to China.

Taking into account that the online application requires applicants to upload application materials in advance for review by the embassy's consular officers, the Embassy of China in Georgia will adjust the office hours of consular section starting Friday, August 1, 2025, in order to allow sufficient time for applicants to upload documents and complete the initial online review:

Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 09:00–12:00 (Passport and Travel Document Services for Chinese Citizens)

Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays, 09:00–12:00 (Visa Services)

Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays, 14:30–17:30 (Document Collection)

(excluding public holidays)

Applicants are advised to submit their online application no later than 16:00 on the day before their planned visit, to allow time for consular staff to complete the review. Once approved, you may schedule an appointment at the Embassy at least 3 hours before your visit. All visits for document services must be scheduled in advance. In case of an emergency, you may contact the Embassy by email or phone to make a special appointment.
